Job summary

Sphere Renewables is seeking an entry-level QA Inspector I in Commerce City, CO. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

You will document results, report nonconformities, and support production teams to maintain product integrity. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of QA/inspection experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or inspection role (training provided).
• Basic understanding of inspection tools and measurement techniques.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, quality checklists, or blueprints (basic level).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The QA Inspector I is responsible for performing basic inspections of materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications. This entry-level role supports the organization’s quality assurance efforts by identifying defects, documenting inspection results, and working with production teams to ensure product integrity.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with moderate noise and temperature changes.
