Wencor Group LLC in Clover, Georgia is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure compliance with engineering and regulatory standards. You will inspect articles, conduct first article inspections, and interpret engineering documents.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of relevant experience. The position requires attention to detail and knowledge of precision measuring tools. Ideal candidates may hold an associate's degree and have proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles.
Use precision measuring devices and instruments to inspect articles to engineering and quality requirements.
High school diploma or GED and five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate's degree in quality, or related technical field preferred. Capable of becoming an ASQ Certified Quality Inspector within two years of position. Training in Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Six Sigma concepts preferred.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
