Job Summary

A growing electronics supplier in Irvine, CA is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with quality inspection experience in electronic components, hardware components, or a related manufacturing environment.

The Quality Control Inspector will support high-volume, time-sensitive inspections to ensure products meet applicable quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on electronic and hardware components according to applicable standards and order requirements.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities, defects, and inspection findings to the Quality Control Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing results, and work performed.
• Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to help ensure proper operation and calibration.
• Handle, package, and protect sensitive products in accordance with customer and industry standards.
• Support overtime needs on weekdays and weekends as required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $24 to $27 per hour.
• Job Type: Direct hire.
• Location: Irvine, CA.
• Overtime: Some overtime required on weekdays and weekends.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Perform high-volume quality inspections of electronic and hardware components.
• Document inspection results and report visual non-conformities.
• Handle and package sensitive products according to quality and customer standards.
• Use inspection tools, equipment, and documentation to support accurate quality control processes.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of electronic or hardware component quality control inspection experience required.
• 1 year of quality inspection experience preferred or required based on hiring requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit for extended periods.
• Strong vision and ability to meticulously handle small or sensitive products.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Basic mathematics and metric measurement skills.
• Ability to understand product drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to use tablets, cameras, microscopes, calipers, weight scales, counters, computers, email, and internet tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, focus, analytical thinking, and ability to multitask.
• Must be motivated, methodical, articulate, vigilant, and team-oriented.
• Ability to provide overtime support as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant experience inspecting, testing, handling, and packaging electronic components.
• Experience with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, AS6081, IDEA-STD-1010, MIL-STD-883, ANSI/ESD-S20.20, JESD22-B101, J-STD-033, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610.
• Prior experience with test laboratories, circuit board assembly, semiconductor manufacturing, independent distribution, or franchise distribution.
• Experience in quality assurance, manufacturing quality control, component inspection, or production inspection environments.
