Job Overview

The Quality Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring the dimensional accuracy of our complex aerospace products. This individual should be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess a strong sense of urgency. Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is highly preferred, as is the ability to make fact-based recommendations to improve product quality and resolve issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute visual, receiving, in-process, and final inspections using both handheld and automated inspection tools, including CMM where possible.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, management, and production teams to communicate product acceptance criteria and inspection outcomes.
• Record detailed inspection results and identify any non-conforming products, ensuring proper documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and advise management on product conformance and capability issues.
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of our Quality Management System by complying with organizational and industry standards.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-years experience in an aerospace manufacturing setting preferred Experience with inspection of machined components preferred
• Experience with CMM’s highly preferred
• Demonstrated capacity for leadership
• Strong capability to interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interface with all levels of company personnel.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of self-motivation with a proactive approach to tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk up and down stairs
• Lift and carry up to 25lbs.
• Push up to 50lbs on a rolling cart
