If yes, we are looking for a dynamic and talented individual to join our team in the US!

What will your role be?

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will ensure supplier performance and product quality meet operational standards. Your responsibilities include evaluating supplier output, driving recovery plans, maintaining a strong on-site presence, and supporting continuous improvement. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams involved in superalloy structural casting, ensuring conformity to technical and quality expectations.

Activities:

• Perform routine and non-routine quality control inspections at various production stages
• Analyze test results, compare with specifications, and recommend data suitability for release
• Assess supplier performance based on key metrics
• Identify root causes of issues, investigate out-of-spec results, and propose corrective actions
• Develop and implement recovery plans with supplier management
• Track progress, document interactions, assessments, and corrective actions
• Maintain a presence at supplier facilities 3-5 days a week for oversight and feedback
• Conduct administrative and condition assessments to ensure conformity
• Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve supplier challenges
• Handle quality notifications, nonconformities, and verify equipment compliance
• Ensure adherence to standards, deadlines, and budgets
• Adapt to additional tasks as needed

Skills and qualifications:

• Associate degree or certification, preferably in Quality Assurance or Supply Chain
• At least 3 years' experience as a Quality Control Inspector in manufacturing inspection
• NDT experience or knowledge preferred
• Background in supplier performance improvement, recovery planning, or supply chain management desirable
• Experience with superalloy structural investment casting strongly preferred
• Strong arithmetic skills and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication and project management skills; ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions
• Understanding of manufacturing processes like casting and forging is a plus
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including handling, reaching, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and visual inspections
• Flexibility and initiative to adapt and solve problems
• Work environment is typically quiet with occasional moderate noise
• Travel 30-60%, potential weekly travel to Portland, OR
