Job summary

Mazzella is seeking a quality control professional to ensure the overall quality of manufactured products. This role develops inspection processes, monitors standards, resolves defects, and creates required documentation.

You will work independently and with multiple departments to uphold quality across the organization. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, using micrometers and calipers, verifying conformance to AWS standards, and supporting calibration and internal audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication/machining drawings and standards.
• Utilize metrology equipment to inspect parts and assemblies.
• Document inspection activities and prepare reports.
• Participate in audits and nonconforming parts processes.
• Support calibration and document control within quality systems.
• Coordinate with supervisors, machinists, and welders for repairs or replacements.
