Job summary

M&H Valve Company in Anniston, AL is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join our team. This salaried role focuses on developing, testing, and evaluating quality systems for a foundry that produces iron components and assembles them on site.

You will conduct daily inspections and audits, analyze data, and collaborate with engineering and production to meet ISO 9001 standards, reduce scrap, and ensure product quality from incoming materials to final assembly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of standards and methodologies.
• Experience with statistical analysis and software utilization.
• Experience with inspection of components and gauge studies.
• Expertise in root cause identification and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and evaluate systems for managing quality control.
• Conduct daily inspections, audits and quality control functions in a foundry environment.
• Analyze data and product specifications to determine quality objectives.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, staff, and management regarding specifications.
• Evaluate equipment and drawings to formulate corrective action plans.
• Maintain calibration programs for measurement equipment.
• Assist in maintaining ISO 9001 compliance and quality documentation.
