Job summary

Celerion is seeking a Data Management Supervisor to oversee QC and Data Entry workflows for studies, ensuring on-time, compliant deliverables and liaison with sponsors. You will lead staff and develop SOPs while driving improvements in data quality and regulatory adherence.

This role requires coordinating study setup, timelines, and status with cross-functional teams, conducting QC reviews, and presenting findings to sponsors and auditors. On-site Tempe, AZ location with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 1-2 years of supervisory or trainer/leader experience required.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Data Management Practices, Medical Terminology, GCP, ICH Guidelines, and 21 CFR Part11 preferred
• Ability to adjust hours to meet workload priorities
• Strong process improvement skills and change management experience
• Critical thinking skills
• Clinical data experience preferred
• Equivalent education and experience will be consider

Responsibilities

• Manage staff in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees
• Provide guidance to ensure quality on-time/zero defect standards
• Plan, organize and facilitate workloads and schedules to meet timelines and ensure regulatory compliance
• Attend study-related meetings for set-up, timeline production and management
• Carry out QC review of source data and raw data; accurate data entry
• Write QC and DE SOPs and participate in SOP reviews
• Create and track QC/DE metrics
• Present QC processes to sponsors and auditors
• Lead process improvement initiatives to improve data quality
• Participate in regulatory inspections and audits
• Monitor process efficiency and identify error trends and resolutions
• Lead/problem solve data collection, quality control and data entry processes
