Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Officer to oversee internal control testing, identify deficiencies, and partner with business lines to drive remediation and improvements.

You will analyze data for anomalies and maintain documentation while supporting automation and scalability in a highly regulated bank environment. In this role, you will supervise teams, train staff, and collaborate with senior leaders to ensure controls are properly designed and functioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Minimum of three years experience in banking, preferably in operations.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training employees and directing work.
• Analyze data for anomalies and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with leaders to drive remediation, automation, and efficiency.
• Assist in testing and validating operational controls.
• Prepare reports summarizing control effectiveness for management.
• Support audit and regulatory examination activities.
