Job summary

ID Logistics US in Joliet, IL, is hiring for a Quality Control role in a warehouse setting. The position focuses on maintaining quality standards across inbound, in-process, and outbound materials, with strong emphasis on communication and leadership.

You will verify shipments, labels, and inventory while adhering to GMPs and safety rules. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with regular daytime hours (Mon-Fri).

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One year forklift operating experience is required.
• Experience in receiving, verifying quantities and signing freight bills in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
• Count and verify UPCs, create shipping labels, label products, and prepare for shipping.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Inspect freight and products for correct quantities and conditions; move freight manually or with powered equipment.
• Monitor unloaders and arrival times to meet unloading goals.
• Research product variances via physical inspection or system analysis.
• Perform picking duties efficiently to meet customer service standards.
• Follow GMPs and report noncompliance; observe safety rules.

Description of the Position

Quality Control will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as keen attention to detail.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• One year forklift operating experience.
• Experience in receiving, verifying quantities, signing freight bill in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Accurately count, verify UPC, make product shipping labels, label, and prepare for shipping.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Maintains quality and accuracy of inventory by inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and conditions and moving freight manually or with powered equipment.
• Ensure goals are met for unloading trailers by monitoring unloaders and arrival times.
• Research product overages, shortages, and discrepancies via physical inspection or system analysis.
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
