Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Quality Control associate in Joliet, IL to maintain quality standards across inbound, in-process, and finished goods while recording results. Strong communication and leadership are required, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities include ensuring shipments are accurate, counting and verifying items, labeling for shipping, maintaining a clean work area, and enforcing GMPs and safety rules. The role runs Monday–Friday evenings with competitive pay.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
  • One year forklift operating experience
  • Experience in receiving, verifying quantities, signing freight bills in a warehouse environment

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
  • Accurately count, verify UPCs, make product shipping labels, label, and prepare for shipping
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
  • Maintains quality and accuracy of inventory by inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and conditions and moving freight manually or with powered equipment
  • Ensure goals are met for unloading trailers by monitoring unloaders and arrival times
  • Research product overages, shortages, and discrepancies via physical inspection or system analysis
  • Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards
  • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned

Starting Pay: $ 22.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential

Monday- Friday 3:00PM – 11:30PM
