Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a Quality Control Associate for our Fort Worth location. The role focuses on inspections, audits, and ensuring adherence to location protocols and standards to maintain product quality.

You will also maintain records, participate in inventories, and assist with training as required, contributing to a team that values accuracy, communication, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

  • Capable of basic math calculations.
  • General knowledge of computers.
  • Previous quality assurance role.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Audit processes to ensure quality standards are being met and procedures are followed.
  • Inspect and repair damaged product.
  • Maintain appropriate records.
  • Conduct refresher training as required.
  • Process out-of-specification material as directed.
  • Inform QA Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections.
  • Verifies action is taken to resolve defects.
  • Participate in location inventories.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Quality Control Associate will prioritize inspections, quality audits, and work needed to ensure location Protocols and Standards are met.

Responsibilities

Knowledge

  • Able to lift, stand or walk constantly all shift as needed
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to read and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Able to use standard measuring equipment

  • Strong attention to detail
