Job summary

Ecoplastic America Corporation is seeking a Team Member for the Quality department in Register, GA, on 2nd shift. You will inspect products from South Korea and Ecoplastic Savannah, using visual inspection tools and gauges to ensure they meet specifications.

You will monitor production, identify defects, document results, and communicate issues to the team while adhering to safety protocols. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work on concrete all shift.

This includes performing inspections, conducting tests, and identifying defects.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Inspection and Testing:Perform regular inspections of products both from South Korea and Ecoplastic Savannah to ensure they meet the required specifications.Use various testing equipment and techniques to measure product quality, including visual inspections, gap and flush measurement (e.g., flush gage, gap ruler).Monitoring Production Processes:Monitor the manufacturing process to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout production.Identify areas where process improvements can be made to reduce defects and increase efficiency.Compliance and Standards:Ensure products and processes comply with company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.Defect Identification and Reporting:Identify defective products, materials, or processes and take immediate corrective action (ex. leave a message to group chat).Work with assembly teams to resolve quality issues.Share serious quality problems to senior management and recommend corrective actions.Documentation and Reporting:Write daily reports on inspection results.QualificationsPrevious manufacturing experience is required1 year of continuous work experience requiredAbility to read and interpret work ordersAbility to take supervision and follow all policies and proceduresAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 to 40 pounds.Ability to constantly stand and walk on concrete floors wearing safety boots during an 8-12 hour shift.Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to a SAFETY-FIRST culture.Flexibility to work weekends and nights.Ability to work independently and have attention to detailQuality control experience is preferredBenefitsHealth Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision)401(k) PlanPaid Time Off (PTO) and holidaysRelocation Support (if applicable)Opportunities for growth and development within the companyEEO StatementEcoplastic America Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
