Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a quality control analyst for a 12-month temporary role in the automobile appraisal claims department. You will act as a technical expert and coach to automobile appraisers, improve QA tools, standardize claims and client experience policies, and develop and present training for appraisers.

You will diagnose issues, provide opinions per discipline rules, and recommend implementations. The position involves updating audit tools to reduce settlement costs, reviewing claims,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
• Advanced experience in estimating.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Temporary 12-month position

As a quality control analyst in the claims - automobile appraisal department, you serve as a technical expert and coach to automobile appraisers. You help improve and upgrade quality assurance tools and update and standardize claims and client experience policies. You develop and present suitable training for appraisers. You analyze and help diagnose issues, provide opinions in accordance with your discipline’s rules, and help develop recommendations and implementation plans. You help develop tools, methods and processes. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You share ideas and help improve the client experience, control leaks, and reduce claims costs by drawing on your extensive knowledge of your line of business and ability to manage complexity.You provide discipline-specific support to your unit, clients and partners. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Update audit tools used to reduce settlement costs and evaluate how claims are handled
