Job summary

Central Stone Company in Hannibal, MO is hiring an Entry Level Quality Control/Plant Operator. The role involves sampling, testing, reporting, and assisting with equipment operation at our Hannibal plant. You must be able to work outdoors in all weather, pass MODOT-certified technician training, and lift up to 75 pounds. A valid driver’s license is required.

This full-time, hourly position may include Saturdays seasonally and involves safety-focused work in a construction aggregate environment.

Qualifications

• Obtains samples and perform tests, calculations and inspections of construction aggregate produced at our Hannibal area operations.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records according to established procedures
• Assists in the operation, maintenance and control of test equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
• Assists in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment (loaders, skid steers, man-lift, etc.)
• Observes all safety rules and keeps work areas and equipment clean and orderly
• Will be required to pass and/or maintain Certified Aggregate Technician training for both MODOT
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must have valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift heavy samples up to 75 pounds

Central Stone Company has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Quality Control/Plant Operator at our plant in Hannibal, MO. This is a full-time, hourly position working some Saturdays depending on the season.
