We are seeking an experienced Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the implementation of a Quality Management System and Continuous Improvement (CI) program across our manufacturing operations. This role owns the full Quality and CI function — from implementation of a QMS and CAPA governance to Lean/Six Sigma-driven process improvement and cost-of-poor-quality (COPQ) reduction.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can build structure, embed a culture of continuous improvement, drive measurable defect and complaint reduction, develop a team, and serve as the senior quality voice in customer-facing interactions. Experience standardizing quality systems across multiple sites and integrating acquired operations is highly valued as RANDYS Worldwide continues to grow.
- Implement a Quality Management System: Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the QMS to ensure full compliance, audit readiness, and documentation/process control standardization.
- Lead Continuous Improvement (CI): Build and lead the site CI program — driving Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, kaizen events, and waste/variation reduction to improve quality, throughput, and cost.
- Drive measurable improvement: Reduce customer complaints and internal defect costs year-over-year through disciplined root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
- Strengthen process controls: Implement preventive systems and process controls that lower COPQ and improve first-pass yield.
- Own customer-facing quality: Serve as the senior quality representative for customer interactions — resolving escalations, strengthening partnerships, and improving customer performance metrics.
- Govern CAPA and investigations: Lead cross-functional root cause investigations, ensure effective containment, and drive long-term risk mitigation.
- Evaluate new business risk: Apply a structured New Business / New Product Review process to assess and mitigate risk on new launches and high-complexity jobs.
- Support multi-site standardization and integration: Help align quality systems, document control, and training governance across sites; support post-acquisition integration of newly acquired operations into RANDYS standards.
- Improve quality visibility: Establish centralized metrics and reporting to give leadership clear, actionable insight into quality performance.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Required Qualifications
- Progressive quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, including direct people management.
- Deep working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 — implementation, compliance, and auditing.
- Demonstrated success driving complaint reduction and internal defect/COPQ reduction through root cause and CAPA discipline.
- Proven Continuous Improvement leadership — applying Lean and Six Sigma methods to deliver measurable process and cost improvements.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Planning, and Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) and demonstrated Continuous Improvement leadership.
- Experience standardizing quality systems across multiple sites.
- Experience with post-acquisition integration and aligning legacy systems to corporate global standards.
