Job summary

J Josephson Inc. seeks a QA/Environmental Manager to oversee quality assurance, ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate R&D input, test materials, and drive CAPA while leading audits and environmental initiatives to maintain OSHA/EPA/NJDEP compliance.

Training and vendor qualification are part of the role. You will manage documentation, SDS, permits, and daily QC operations, working closely with production and logistics teams to sustain high quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related field, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in quality control/assurance in manufacturing, with 2+ years leading a QC function.
• Hands-on testing of raw materials and finished goods; strong CAPA experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and NJDEP regulatory requirements; SDS management.

Responsibilities

• Manage production quality standards and testing; report on quality parameters.
• Identify root causes for customer quality complaints and drive corrective actions.
• Lead audits and maintain records, SDS, permits, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and support for QC personnel; coordinate supplier quality.
• Coordinate R&D trials and ensure vendors meet company standards.
