Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of quality control or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, with 2+ years leading a QC function.
• Hands-on experience with raw material and finished goods testing, sample standards, and specification management.
• Demonstrated root cause analysis and corrective action experience (5-Why, fishbone, CAPA).
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and NJDEP regulatory requirements, including recordkeeping, permits, and SDS management.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, test methods, and customer quality requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; comfortable with ERP/quality management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to interact with customers, vendors, and production personnel.

Aufgaben

• Manage the standards for production and quality.
• Test and report on incoming product complaints and on raw materials quality parameters.
• Review production stages for adherence to requirements and maintain sample-folder standards.
• Identify root causes and validate/invalidate customer quality complaints; propose resolutions.
• Provide back-up QC support during peak production or as needed.
• Maintain SDS and environmental records; ensure regulatory compliance and permit renewals.
• Conduct formal and informal audits to ensure compliance; perform EHS functions as needed.
• Coordinate with R&D and suppliers to ensure compliant trials and material specs.
