Job summary

Lex Products is seeking a Quality Manager to develop and drive the company’s quality management system. The role requires leading on-site quality staff, aligning processes across facilities, and ensuring ISO 9001 and AS 9100 compliance.

You will implement measurement systems, lead RCA/CAPA activities, and coordinate audits with internal teams and external auditors. The ideal candidate possesses a engineering degree, 5 years in manufacturing quality, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Quality or Industrial Engineer in manufacturing electrical or mechanical products.
• Proficient computer skills and thorough knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is required.
• Understanding and knowledge of AS9100 and UL Standards is preferred.
• Six Sigma or Lean experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor quality objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure QMS compliance with ISO 9001 and AS 9100.
• Introduce and maintain measurement systems and MSA, including operator training.
• Lead quality improvements and stay current with regulatory standards and production trends.
• Manage on-site Quality staff and hire/train Quality personnel.
• Perform RCA and CAPA for non-conformances and verify actions.
• Report Cost of Quality metrics and drive cross-functional improvement.
• Coordinate audits and ensure continuous compliance with standards.
• Interface with customers, auditors, and suppliers to fulfill QMS requirements.
• Implement inspections, tests, and evaluation methods to support QMS.
• Lead site-wide quality training and stop production for serious defects.
