Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Jackson Center, OH is seeking a Quality Auditor to inspect in-process products and finished plastic containers, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

The role conducts laboratory and floor inspections, uses precision measuring instruments, and communicates issues clearly. Night shift runs 7pm–7am on a 3-2-2-3 rotation, offering overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

As a Plastipak Quality Auditor, you audit systems and processes as they relate to our Quality program. You play a key role in assuring the Jackson Centersite achieves the highest quality performance.

Location: Jackson Center, OH

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential

Schedule: 3-2-2-3 rotation (3 days on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off)

Nights: 7pm-7am

Key Responsibilities

Conduct quality inspections of in-process product & finished plastic containers in the lab, on the production floor & in the warehouse to evaluate product quality

Use measuring instruments to measure dimensions & performance criteria's adherence to customer specifications

Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance

Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

Qualifications

Ability to work 12 hour night shift

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills

Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions in a clear and professional manner

Ability to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis
