Job summary

Plastipak in Champaign is hiring a Machine Operator to safely run equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility. The role offers a night shift schedule and a full-time pathway with growth opportunities.

The position requires mechanical aptitude, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training will cover equipment operation, defect checks, packing, and routine maintenance.

Job description

Plastipak in Champaign is growing & hiring. We manufacture packaging for products you use every day. Our facility is extremely clean, safe & climate-controlled. Joining us as a Machine Operator is a great way to get started with Plastipak.

Shift

Nights 6:45pm – 7:15 am

• Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
• Includes 2 long-weekends every month
• Full time schedules are 15 working days a month

Pay

Earn $19.50 per hour (includes $18.50 base plus $1.00 night shift differential)
