Job summary

Plastipak is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Champaign to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility. Pay ranges from $25 to $32+ per hour, with a $1.00 night shift differential. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO and more.

Job description

Pay: Earn $25 - $32+ per hour

• $25 - $32 per hour, based on skills & experience
• Shift differential of $1.00 per hour more for night shift

What You Will Do

• Preventative maintenance
• Repair machine & manufacturing equipment
• Changeovers
• Complete trainings & earn certifications

What You Need

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 3 or more years of experience maintaining manufacturing machines & equipment (engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, etc.).
• Ability to work 12 hour night shift (6:45pm-7:15am) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical working knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving ability
• Ability to read & interpret technical & operational documents (manuals, blueprints, schematics)
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation
