Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a full-time Quality Coordinator at our Wilmer, Texas warehouse facility. You will help ensure product quality, monitor packaging codes, and support GMP and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a safety-focused team, with ongoing opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and a strong culture of quality across operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a food-grade facility.
• Familiarity with GMPs, FDA and USDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor finished packaging codes per specifications.
• Inspect products for quality issues and remove defects before packaging.
• Conduct timely checks to meet specifications and document results.
• Provide quality documentation to supervisors/managers as required.
• Maintain GMPs and FDA/USDA compliance.
• Ensure product quality meets customer and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $18.50 per hour
• Shift pay: $0.50/hr
• Schedule: Friday - Sunday 5:30am - 6:30pm

Requirements

• Associate's Degree preferred
• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in food grade facility
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
• Other duties as required or assigned
