Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Wilmer, TX is seeking a Quality Coordinator to help ensure product quality and regulatory compliance on the packaging line. The role focuses on monitoring packaging codes, inspecting finished products, and upholding GMP standards.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma (Assoc. degree preferred) and experience in a food-grade facility, with strong communication and documentation skills to support supervisors and maintain safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food-grade facility is desired.
• Familiarity with GMPs, FDA and USDA requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor finished packaging codes against specs.
• Inspect product quality and remove defects/contaminants prior to packaging.
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors with proper quality documentation.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/USDA standards.
• Other duties as required.

• Hourly Pay $18.50 per hour
• Additional Pay $0.50 per hour
• Schedule: Friday-Sunday 7:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Requirements

• Associate's Degree preferred
• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in food grade facility
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
• Other duties as required or assigned
