Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented QA professional to support software and mobile application testing initiatives. You will plan, execute, and validate tests across the SDLC, with a strong emphasis on functional, regression, and API testing.

You will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high-quality releases and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience testing web-based and mobile applications.
• Strong manual testing experience.
• API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of SDLC.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases and scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Validate APIs and system integrations using Postman.
• Document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Create and manage test data for testing activities.
• Validate backend data and application functionality using SQL.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, and Product teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like Sprint Planning and Standups.
• Analyze test coverage and identify gaps or improvements.
• Ensure high-quality software releases meeting requirements.
