Job summary

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience testing web-based software and strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile practices, and SQL Server. Collaboration with Developers and BAs is essential to ensure quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience testing web-based software applications.
• 5+ years of QA experience preferred.
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• SQL experience with SQL Server databases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, ad-hoc, and exploratory testing.
• Test web-based software applications and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Work closely with Developers and Business Analysts to investigate and resolve issues.
• Create and manage test data needed for testing activities.
• Review logs and troubleshoot application issues.
• Configure and deploy software to support testing environments.
• Analyze existing functionality and identify opportunities to improve test coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
• Manage testing activities against project timelines and release schedules.
• Become a subject matter expert on assigned products and functionality.
