Job summary

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician I for our Columbia Crest Winery in Paterson, WA. The role maintains SOPs and material specs through testing and inspection to ensure high-quality wine and regulatory compliance.

The position follows a monthly rotating schedule with morning, mid and night shifts. Responsibilities include inspecting in-process and finished goods, performing stability tests, and keeping QA records.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver's License.
• HS diploma or equivalent; associate degree or 2 years in a science preferred.
• Able to meet a monthly rotating schedule.
• Experience in wine, food, or beverage industry.
• Analytical laboratory experience preferred with lab instrument systems.
• Follow GMP and Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process and post-process packaged goods and provide feedback to bottling supervisor and line personnel.
• Perform physical stability tests on finished wines.
• Maintain accurate/current packaging and bottling-related records.
• Maintain quality assurance records and workstation records.
• Record and report analytical results.
