Job summary

Precept Wine & Spirits in Walla Walla, WA is hiring a Quality Control Tech for our Waterbrook Winery bottling line. This full-time role ensures product quality through SOPs, GMPs and lab practices, performing QC analyses on finished goods and materials.

You will maintain thorough documentation, coordinate with production teams, and support continuous improvement. Lifting 40–50 lbs, flexibility for shifts, and cross-training across bottling line functions are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to consistently lift 40-50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Work extended hours and weekends when needed.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must work well under minimal supervision.
• Able to cross train with all bottling line functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC analyses of finished goods and materials per SOPs and GMPs.
• Follow laboratory SOPs; maintain accurate documentation.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct basic analyses on tank samples; verify results and consistency.
• Procure supplies and notify supervisor of needs.
• Communicate status of analysis and equipment usage to team.
• Assist with departmental needs and vacancies.
• Work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts as required.
