Job summary

Monogram Foods is seeking a Quality Ass I (MV1 QA Assist 1st shift) to ensure snack food product quality through testing and analysis of product and packaging. The role requires flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities include sampling for weight, moisture, salometer and pH checks, completing QC paperwork, and communicating quality issues to PMO and supervisor. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work both independently and in a team, and capable of using

Qualifications

• Knowledge of common QC techniques and procedures.
• Intermediate level math and writing skills.
• Intermediate level communication skills.
• Ability to test and read scales.
• Ability to neatly and accurately complete paperwork.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Flexible work schedule between Production and Quality.
• Ability to use various software programs, computers and ipads.
• Ability to obtain HACCP certification.
• Ability to care for lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Gather samples to perform weight, moisture, salometer and ph checks on product.
• Complete all quality control paperwork and forward to appropriate recipients.
• Check packaging for integrity of seals, dates, vacuum, and proper caddie and case counts.
• Communicate with PMO and supervisor on quality issues.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow GMP/HAACP procedures.
• Pre-operational sanitation inspections daily.
• Perform micro swab procedures.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
