Job summary

The role approves batches, monitors core checks, and performs analytical tests to guarantee safe, compliant products. Responsibilities include executing pre-ops, notifying relevant personnel of nonconformances, and coaching line staff on data collection and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Mastery of basic lab techniques and ability to use math/formulas.
• Experience with testing equipment and following quality SOPs.
• Attention to detail and ability to cooperate with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Approve/correct batches and monitor core checks.
• Perform lab checks per defined SOPs and ensure compliance.
• Conduct pre-ops and Preventive Control checks.
• Notify appropriate personnel of noncompliances.
• Perform analytical and physical tests on materials and finished products.
• Support food safety and quality within your scope.
• Coach production on data collection and follow safety policies.
• Assume additional duties as assigned by management.
