Job summary

Key duties include executing SOP procedures, reporting nonconformities, conducting analytical and physical tests, and coaching operators on data collection. The position emphasizes food safety and quality across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb or sit through shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills.
• Read and write effectively.
• Process quality documentation accurately and timely.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Approve/correct batches and monitor that core checks are performed.
• Perform lab checks per defined SOPs.
• Conduct pre-ops and Preventive Control checks.
• Notify appropriate personnel when noncompliance is found.
• Perform analytical tests (VC, Salt, Brix, pH, DS, TA, Vit C) and compare to controls.
• Perform physical tests on raw materials and finished products.
• Run special audits on materials or products on hold as needed.
• Maintain Food Safety and Quality reporting to leadership.
• Follow company policies on manufacturing and safety practices.
• Coach production associates on line data collection.
• Perform other duties as instructed by management.
