Job summary

PEER Chain & Sprockets in Waukegan, IL is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to perform, evaluate, report, and maintain laboratory testing results for products sourced from suppliers to ensure ANSI/ASME compliance and customer requirements.

You will conduct mechanical testing, document findings, and support production with root-cause analysis, process improvements, and adherence to the facility's QMS.

Qualifications

• Test and document products in compliance with ANSI/ASME process requirements
• Evaluate and identify customer samples
• Maintain and follow the Quality Management System (QMS)

Responsibilities

• Test and document products to ANSI/ASME process requirements
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and diagnose product failures
• Evaluate, analyze, and test factory and competitor products
• Maintain laboratory equipment and provide internal technical support
• Coordinate and track outsource testing results as needed for validation
• Adhere to and enforce the facility QMS in all actions
