Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering, LLC is expanding its Quality Control team with experienced QC Specialists. The role involves performing and witnessing inspections and testing to ensure compliance with codes, customer specifications, and PPI procedures.

Qualifications

• Current CWI certification is required.
• 5+ years of shop inspection experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly, etc.).
• Knowledge of industry quality standards and codes (API, ASNT, ASME, NACE, DS-1, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interface with customers and co-workers.
• Basic PC skills and proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and complete work on schedule, including long hours and weekends if necessary.
• Strong decision-making ability in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per plans, quality plans, standards, and customer requirements.
• Verify calibration/certification of inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
• Validate technician certifications are current for the scope of activity.
• Represent the customer at supplier and fabrication sites and manage scheduling, deliveries, and execution.
• Generate reports documenting inspection results and activity progress.
