Job summary

Thrive Freeze Dry in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Quality Technician for the 3rd shift to support the Quality and R&D department. The role focuses on material inspection, sampling, and QA documentation to ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in QA within food manufacturing, strong communication skills, and a commitment to food safety and quality. The position offers full-time hours with competitive pay and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in field, laboratory, or production facility quality control.
• Experience in food manufacturing or food service preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sample incoming raw materials and packaging to ensure conformance with specs.
• Evaluate product returns and issue non-conformance reports.
• Maintain QA sample storage and library for quick retrieval.
• Review supplier COAs against Thrive Foods specs.
• Document QA tasks for pre/post-operational inspections.
• Follow GMP and sanitation policies and perform environmental monitoring.
