Job summary

Thrive Freeze Dry in Oak Creek, WI is hiring a full-time Quality Assurance Technician for the 3rd shift (5:30pm–5:30am) in the Quality and R&D department. The role focuses on ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance of our freeze-dried pet food products.

You will inspect incoming materials, sample products, review COAs, and support the SQF program while collaborating with QA management and production teams. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in field, laboratory, or production facility quality control.
• Experience in food manufacturing or food service highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sample all incoming raw products, ingredients and packaging materials.
• Evaluate product returns and issue non-conformance reports.
• Review supplier COAs and ensure conformance to Thrive Freeze Dry specifications.
• Perform pre-operational and post-operational QA tasks and GMP inspections.
• Enter data in multiple systems and maintain documentation.
