Responsibilities

This role ensures product quality by providing information, maintaining samples, and ensuring raw materials have complete traceability to the finished product, in accordance with Evolution Fresh guiding principles.

Job Duties

• Evaluate and document the quality of finished goods and raw materials.
• Report quality issues as needed.
• Assess manufacturing facility and warehouse compliance with regulatory and HACCP standards.
• Support quality programs through audits.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow safety regulations, participate in process improvements, and meet performance schedules.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, Food Safety Preventive Controls, product specifications, and quality procedures.
• Support HACCP-based quality programs and provide training to manufacturing partners.
• Follow safety guidelines, including PPE and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
• Support food safety, legality, and quality initiatives.
• Monitor and document quality measures using analytical tools.
• Perform other duties to support business objectives and company values.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School/GED or 1-2 years of related experience.
• Experience operating manual and automated analytical equipment.
• Familiarity with GMP standards in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of scientific methods and report writing.
• Experience gathering, recording, and reporting operational and quality metrics.

Additional Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Windows and internet applications.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and variable shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year degree or familiarity with global food safety standards like GFSI, BRC, or SQF.
