Job summary

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience in a facilitator, technician, coordinator, and/or lead role (or equivalent experience).
  • Two years of experience implementing quality checks and tests.
  • Basic knowledge of company products and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate laboratory-testing equipment.
  • Experience in gage calibration and QMS software desirable.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and maintain quality assurance standards and procedures.
  • Read and interpret simple engineering drawings to inspect materials and products.
  • Prepare documents to record results and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform physical property tests (tensile, hardness).
  • Complete quality checks and audits on the production floor.
  • Ensure measurement devices are within calibration.
  • Propose and implement process improvements in QA.

# Quality Assurance Technician.Are you looking for a new challenge in Quality? Are you a stickler for detail and always thinking about the end result? Do you love problem solving, analyzing data, and creating stop gaps?Then the Quality Assurance Technician position in Lawrence, KS is for you!The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for supporting and implementing standards and procedures that which align with expectations of our customers. The technician interacts daily with multiple levels of management and production personnel, fully supporting the Quality Strategies. The technician must perform inspections on incoming material, completed products, assist with quality audits, be comfortable working with others, and work independently in a high- volume environment.SHIFT: 6:00 am – 6:00 PM Sunday – Tuesday, every other Saturday 6:00am – 2:30pm.
