Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a full-time Associate to join its linen management team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will separate, fold, and distribute clean linen, inspect quality, and label sterile products using a heat-sealing machine.

Adherence to SOPs and productivity standards is essential to ensure efficient operations and patient safety. The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work in a noisy setting, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain clean,

Qualifications

• High School education or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry.
• Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.
• Ability to work in a noisy fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Separate, fold, and distribute clean linen.
• Inspect clean linen to ensure quality standards.
• Pouch and label sterile products using the heat-sealing machine.
• Work within established productivity and quality standards.
• Make recommendations to facility management for improvements.
• Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.

• Keep workstation neat and clean.

Essential Functions

• Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.
• Inspect clean linen to ensure all quality standards have been met.
• Pouch and label sterile product utilizing the heat-sealing machine.
• Work within established productivity and quality standards.
• Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.
• Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.
• Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Keep workstation neat and clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.
• Good analytical skills to be able to determine number of carts required for orders.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry
• Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items from machine for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 100 pounds.
• Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: (List the minimum requirements for the position.)

• Degree in Industrial Management, Engineering Operations Management or related disciplines preferred.
