Job summary

Crown Bakeries is hiring for a quality assurance professional to ensure food safety and quality across operations in Smyrna, GA. You will audit documentation, maintain defect-free records, and support leadership with timely information to meet customer specs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with QA teams, participating in customer groups, and facilitating audits. Strong communication and GMP/HACCP knowledge are essential to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
• Knowledge of statistical and analytical problem-solving procedures preferred.
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, food quality testing and safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and report accurately on all aspects of food safety and quality-related functions.
• Review all quality documentation and operations control documents with quality teams and leadership.
• Maintain work areas and operation to meet internal/external quality and safety demands.
• Participate in customer work groups to maintain relationships and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Prepare for and participate in customer and regulatory audits to achieve superior scores.
• Communicate quality information to Supervisors/Managers via reports and meetings.
