Qualifications

  • Completed degree in engineering/technical field.
  • Several years of experience in incoming goods inspection and product testing.
  • Proficiency with measuring equipment and testing methods.
  • Structured, independent work style with strong communication.
  • Good knowledge of German.
  • Experience with supplier complaints and QA documentation is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of audits, corrective actions and GD&T.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (regionally).

Responsibilities

Job description

As Team Lead Quality Assurance, you are responsible for quality assurance, operational inspection processes and team leadership – with a strong focus on efficient workflows and sustainable quality improvement. In this role, you report directly to our Director Quality Management and work closely with Production, Logistics, and our suppliers, always with the clear objective of improving quality in a measurable and sustainable way.

Your Responsibilities and Duties

Coordinating mechanical, timely, and repeatable incoming goods inspections and final inspections

Implementing and coordinating internal non-conformance management

Contributing to lean inspection concepts for incoming goods and final inspections, as well as to the
continuous improvement of quality assurance processes in collaboration with production

Processing and resolution of supplier deviations and complaints

Tracking of corrective and preventive actions

Support with supplier audits and evaluations as needed

Leading and scheduling the QA team and ensuring operational smoothness

Onboarding, professional development and coaching of employees

Ensuring calibration activities in test equipment management

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Completed degree (e.g., industrial mechanic, tool mechanic, metrology technician)
  • Several years of experience in incoming goods inspection and product testing, ideally in mechanical engineering
  • Proficiency in the use of measuring equipment and testing methods
  • Structured, independent work style and strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of German
  • Experience with supplier complaints and QA documentation is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of audits, corrective actions and GD&T is desirable
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (regionally)
