• Handle supplier complaints independently through email.
• Document inspections using SAP QM modules.

Your tasks at AKG

• Conducting incoming inspections of purchased parts, particularly dimensional inspections
• Inspecting steel parts, piping, attachments, and similar components
• External acceptance inspections and tests (FAI) of components directly at the supplier’s site (travel required approx. 30%, worldwide)
• Conducting initial sampling of supplier components
• Independently handling supplier complaints (in writing via email)
• Using SAP QM modules for documentation and inspection planning

What we require from you

• Completed training as an industrial mechanic, toolmaker, or similar, or relevant experience in operational quality management
• Willingness to travel (worldwide)
• Basic knowledge of SAP, ideally the QM module
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately, including those of complex components (knowledge of form and position tolerances is a plus)
• Experience working with testing and measuring equipment
• Very good command of German and good written and spoken English
