Job summary

EKL AG is seeking a quality-focused professional to coordinate risk analyses (FMEA) and APQP-driven activities across development and production. You will set up test plans for internal and supplier processes and manage new products from development to series production.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, analytical thinking, and initiative to drive continuous improvement in quality management and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A degree in a technical subject or technical vocational training with relevant professional experience.
• Experience in quality management or APQP with knowledge of QM methods (FMEA, 8D, APQP).
• Analytical, structured, solution-oriented approach; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform risk analyses (FMEA).
• Coordinate and perform initial sampling (PPAP).
• Set up test plans and instructions for internal processes and suppliers.
• Manage new products from development to series production (APQP).
• Support customer and supplier complaints and implement sustainable improvements.
• Liaise between Sales, Development/Design, Procurement and Quality Assurance to drive continuous improvement.

Job description

Your responsibilities:

• Co-ordinating and carrying out risk analyses (e.g. FMEA)
• Co-ordinating and carrying out initial sampling (PPAP)
• Setting up test plans and test instructions for internal processes and suppliers
• Managing new products from development through to series production (APQP/Advanced Product Quality Planning)
• Providing support with customer and supplier complaints, as well as with the implementation of sustainable improvement measures
• Acting as the liaison between Sales, Development/Design, Procurement and Quality Assurance to ensure continuous product and process improvement

Your profile:

• A degree in a technical subject or technical vocational training with relevant professional experience
• Experience in quality management or advanced product quality planning, as well as knowledge of common QM methods (e.g. FMEA, 8D, APQP)
• An analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Strong communication skills and a passion for cross-functional collaboration
• Proactivity, a sense of responsibility and the ability to work well in a team
