Base pay range

$52,000.00/yr - $62,000.00/yr

Position Details

Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor - Food/Packaging

Location: Center, CO - Relocation Available

Salary: $52,000-$62,000 + 20% Bonus + Benefits

Requirements

• 3+ Years of experience as a Quality Supervisor or in a Laboratory setting within the Food and Beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of dry and wet products, FDA regulations, HACCP, and SQF standards.
• Leadership skills and a desire to advance in your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality Assurance Department at the Center, CO plant.
• Oversee GMP, HACCP, allergen, and food safety policies and programs.
• Supervise sanitation programs, including master sanitation schedule, environmental monitoring, and plant inspections.
• Monitor pest control programs and collaborate with third-party providers.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Lab Technicians.
• Direct testing and analysis of products, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of testing results, audits, and other documentation.
• Support production to ensure product compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in laboratory testing methods (analytical, chemical, microbiological).
• Problem-solving skills and ability to develop solutions.
• Knowledge of GMP and GLP standards.
• Intermediate skills in Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Management experience in a laboratory or similar setting.

Prior experience in the Potato Processing Industry is preferred.
