You will manage the lab team and oversee day-to-day activities within the quality function.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience and 5+ years in plant QA in food manufacturing, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory experience including hiring, coaching and day-to-day supervision.
• 5+ years hands-on plant quality assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF, HACCP, FDA or other regulatory/industry programs.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of communication within quality area and across functions.
• Coach and develop team members; use metrics to improve efficiency and hold holds on product.
• Oversee production process quality, sanitation, and adherence to quality goals.
• Ensure safety practices and training; manage holds and disposition decisions.
• Assist in hiring and cross-training of quality technicians.
