Job summary

Loparex LLC in Iowa City is seeking a quality assurance professional to join our release liner manufacturing team. You will conduct QA checks, analyze data, and ensure sample testing aligns with quality standards across production.

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and maintain SCARS.
• Process daily role transactions.
• Order Lab supplies.
• Coordinate calibration functions.
• Maintain extra testing and test plan maintenance.
• Look out for specific problems, minutely observing the units of goods produced for visible defects, performing various tests on the samples drawn, noting down observations, accepting and rejecting lots on the basis of samples checking, assisting in implementation of quality control programs.
• Prepare Customer Outrun samples, labels, packages, and send to the customer.
• Utilize a variety of company databases and quality systems.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions and put the solutions into action.
• Maintain confidentiality as they interact with all levels of an organization.
• Assist in maintaining Quality Alerts

We're Looking For:

• High school diploma required. AA/AS in chemistry or related field preferred
• 2 or more years' experience in quality assurance
• Demonstrated ability to work with Company software systems including, but not limited to the ability to create reports and correspondence with word processing, create spreadsheets, accurately update database and utilize statistical analysis software
• Strong mathematical skills; working knowledge of metric conversions and statistical software
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
• Strong organization skills
• Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
• Detail orientated
• Ability to work in a team environment
