Job summary

HD Hyundai Power Transformers USA, Inc. in Montgomery, AL seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead quality statistical analysis, planning, execution, and reporting of inspections and test results across products.

You will work with QA team leaders, support root cause analysis, and help develop processes related to product development, while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptable to changing directions quickly.

Responsibilities

• Report process issues with steps to recreate.
• Develop and maintain KPI data collection systems.
• Prepare Quality Investigation Reports and related documents.
• Attend audits and customer inspections with stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly surveillance and verification of corrective actions.
• Ensure work follows approved methods and drawings.
• Coordinate final QA handover documents (NCR/NCM).
• Lead the QA Task Force and train other departments.
• Monitor quality objectives and KPIs.
• Collaborate with engineers, shop supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
