CoAspire, LLC in Northern Virginia is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to support quality systems in missile manufacturing. You will perform inspections, review documentation, and drive corrective actions to ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, QA, manufacturing or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years in a quality role within manufacturing (aerospace/defense preferred).
• Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 and quality inspection methods.
• Experience with nonconformance reporting systems and CAPA processes.

Responsabilidades

• Perform in-process and final inspections of missile components, assemblies, and systems for compliance with drawings and specs.
• Review manufacturing docs, work orders, travelers, and inspection records for accuracy.
• Identify, document, and support resolution of nonconformances per QMS procedures.
• Support root cause analyses and CAPA for defects in products and processes.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 and customer quality requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve issues and drive improvement.
• Participate in internal audits and assist external/customer audits as needed.
• Monitor and report key quality metrics (yield, defect rates, rework).
• Verify calibration status of inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE).
• Support configuration control and traceability for missile systems and components.
• Promote safety and compliance with hazardous materials and explosive safety rules.
