Cubic Defense in North Carolina seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to implement and maintain quality management practices, ensuring compliance with AS9100D and customer requirements. You will perform inspections, audits, data analysis, and collaborate with production to meet on-time delivery and product quality. MS Office proficiency and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance are required.

The role is on-site, with a pay range of $26.00-$29.00 per hour, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 year associate degree required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in quality in a production environment.
• Experience conducting internal audits and participating in external audits.
• Must be comfortable using microscopes on a regular basis.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Performs quality control tests/inspections as needed.
• Collect data and prepare reports related to quality control.
• Support Production in cleanroom environment to ensure workmanship standards and customer on-time delivery.
• Support maintenance of gauge calibration system.
• Support customer program requirements per requirements.
• Support product development programs to ensure AS9100D compliance.
• Work with Quality Team to enhance the Quality Management System.
• Develops effective working relationships with internal customers and promotes defect prevention.
• Support planned internal audits with departments and programs.
• Support external audits by customers and vendors.
• Interfaces with departments and subcontractors for quality issue resolution.
• Incoming inspection using manual and automated inspection tools, including microscopes.
