Job summary

MasterBrand, Inc. in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support the Carlisle Quality System. You will analyze data, solve quality problems, and help drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

You will work closely with group leaders, engineers, and production teams to monitor metrics, ensure specifications, and provide candid feedback to improve quality. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply and interpret statistical data.
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
• Two years’ experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to deliver a formal project status presentation to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Layered Process Audits and work toward resolution of open items.
• Interact with group leaders, team leaders, and engineering to identify and resolve quality problems.
• Interact with internal and external customers to resolve quality problems.
• Participate in Customer Complaint Analysis.
• Lead and track daily/weekly operational metrics (PPM, QA boards, NorthStar, OOCA, OBKA, color checks).
• Review specifications and Standard Operating Sheets for accuracy and revisions.
• Support operations in interpreting specifications and solving problems.
• Provide training on quality issues to production teams.
• Lead and/or participate in Kaizen improvement events.
• Generate, modify, and complete Standard Operating Sheets (SOS).
• Report non-compliance to the Carlisle Quality System.
