Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Seattle, WA is seeking a Quality/Compliance Specialist to review orders for compliance with customer and regulatory specifications under the guidance of the Quality Manager.

You will release hardware for shipment, perform contract and quality record reviews, generate substantiation packages, and ensure proper identification and packaging while maintaining export control and customer quality system requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year program.
• Minimum of one year of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Release hardware for shipment after final review.
• Perform quality review of orders during contract review.
• Review quality records prior to shipment.
• Generate substantiation/qualification packages.
• Perform quality assurance verification for raw material.
• Review new and revised technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with FMI and customer quality systems.
• Perform over-inspections of products.
• Act as the customer’s agent on quality issues when certified.
• Complete audits, forms, and reports required by the customer.
• Ensure proper identification and packaging.
